Flow – Coaching Skills for Busy Parents
What is it?
A short practically based six session course aimed at building on your strengths and developing your own solutions for your particular problems. A chance to meet other busy parents in similar situations to you so that you can share and learn from each other how to do more of what works. An opportunity to try out your own newly developed ideas at home and talk about your successes.
What does it teach?
The course will help you develop reflective listening skills with your children. It will enable you to clarify and check that your goals for success are correctly ordered and positively framed. You will discover how to become a successful 'coach' for your children by agreeing what you want to continue doing and what you want to stop doing. And most importantly you will learn how to maintain the changes that occur.
The course will inspire you to set goals that are realistic. It will enable you to be honest with yourself in a supportive environment. You will learn how to find the full range of options for the solutions that are required. You will then have the confidence to know exactly what you are going to do, when you are going to do it and what you have to do to maintain success.
